Men’s Soccer Drops Road Match at No. 25 Wingate; 2-1

Wingate, N.C. – Anderson University men's soccer lost its second straight South Atlantic Conference match, dropping a 2-1 result at Wingate on Saturday evening at Pride Park.

With the setback, the Trojans fall to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in conference action, while the Bulldogs move to 4-0-1 overall and 2-0 in SAC play.

Wingate scored goals in the 32nd and 58th minutes of action taking control of the match.

The Trojans remained relentless finding the back of the net in the 86th minute of play. Sophomore Shalev Keter scored from a free kick in the box to cut the lead to, 2-1.

Anderson outshot the Bulldogs 12(6) - 7( 4) with the Bulldogs winning the corner kick advantage 4-3.
