Trojans Travel to Lenoir-Rhyne to Open SAC Tournament Play

ANDERSON, S.C. – The sixth seeded Anderson University men's soccer team begins South Atlantic Conference Tournament play when it travels to No. 3 seeded Lenoir-Rhyne.

SERIES HISTORY
The Trojans hold a slight 5-4-5 overall series advantage over Lenoir-Rhyne. The Trojans and the Bears have squared off twice in the SAC Tournament. In 2011, Anderson defeated Lenoir-Ryne, 1-0 (OT), to claim its second SAC Tournament Championship. AU and LR met again in the 2014 SAC quarterfinals with the match ending in a 0-0 tie after double overtime. The Bears advanced after winning the shoot-out, 4-3.
