Miller Earns Men’s Golf First-Team All-Conference Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. – On the eve of the South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship, junior standout Jake Miller has been named First-Team All-Conference, as announced by the league office Friday morning.

Miller is ranked 46th in the nation by Golfstat with an adjusted scoring average of 72.83. He has posted nine rounds of par or better on the season, including a season-low 67 on three occasions. He finished no lower than 18th in any of the eight tournaments and claimed four top-10 finishes, including three finishes in the top-five, highlighted by a third-place finish at the AU Invitational.

The Anderson, S.C., native closed the season on a strong note with a share of fifth place at both the Bearcat Classic and at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational, which featured eight of the top-50 teams in the nation.

Miller finished as runner-up at last year's SAC Championship, which was hosted by the Trojans at Cobb's Glen Country Club in the Electric City.

The 2019 SAC Men's Golf Championship will be hosted by Coker, Sunday – Tuesday, at the Camden (S.C.) Country Club.
