ANDERSON, S.C. – After posting four top-six finishes during its fall season, the Anderson University men's golf team is set to open its' spring slate at Lincoln Memorial's Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, which will be hosted in north Florida on Monday and Tuesday.
This marks the first time since the 2013-14 campaign that the Trojans have opened the season at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, which was then held at the Fleming Island Golf Club.
Through the four fall tourneys, junior Jake Bell led the Trojans with a 72.00 stroke average and posted a pair of top-10 finishes. Sophomore Cal Brock was just behind with a 73.33 stroke average through nine rounds and also captured a pair of top-10 finishes.
Sophomore Colt Martin recorded a 74.56 stroke average through the four fall events and notched eighth place at the AU Invitational last September. Senior Grayson Bell won the King University Invitational in September, while also sharing ninth place at the AU Invitational and notched a 76.00 stroke average on the season.
