Trojans Climb to Sixth in Regional Rankings

ANDERSON, S.C. -- The NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee has released this week's regional rankings, and the Trojans have move up one spot to sixth in the Southeast Region after being ranked seventh a week ago. Anderson (22-6) has already set a new school record for wins in a season since becoming a four-year institution and the third-seeded Trojans will play host to Belmont Abbey Friday night in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament as AU battles for its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth. The top 10 teams in each region are listed at the link below for each of the eight regions. Selections for the 2010 NCAA Tournament will take place via a Web cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Eastern, except for the West region, which will be announced Monday, March 8.
