WILSON, NC - Senior guard Bobby Buffaloe buried all 11 of his points in a three-minute span in the second half Saturday night to spark the Barton College men's basketball team to an 86-73 men's basketball victory over visiting Anderson University. Barton won the rebounding battle 42-35, committed nine turnovers, and shot 42.3 percent. Anderson exited at 13-12 overall and 11-7 in the league. Stephen Cobb canned 18 points, Taylor Shugart 16 and Brandon Young and Nick Trull 12 apiece for the Trojans, who shot 51 percent. Shugart claimed nine boards. Barton was up 66-59 with 8:54 to play when Buffaloe heated up, raining in a jumper, then three straight 3-pointers for a 75-63 lead. Anderson travels to Hartsville Tuesday night to play Coker.
