Trojans Use 3-Pointers to sink SAPC

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University shot a staggering 16-of-24 (66.7%) from behind the arc en route to a 103-80 Conference Carolinas men's basketball victory on Saturday afternoon in the Abney Athletics Center. Anderson (12-11 Overall, 10-6 Conf.) shot 59.1-percent for the game and five Trojans scored in double figures. Sophomore Brandon Young tallied a game-high 23 points and freshman Nick Trull netted 22. The sophomore trio of Jarret Johnson, Kevis Cornwell, and Stephen Cobb provided 15, 14, and 13 points, respectively. Trull swished a game-high six 3-pointers; Young drilled five; and Cobb made three. Trojans outscored SAPC 48-21 from long range including 10 of their 16 treys in the first half. Anderson claimed a 55-43 advantage at halftime. Anderson is back in action on Monday when they host Lees-McRae at 7:30pm. Game Stats
