HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
The Railsplitters jumped out to an early three-run lead with a solo run in the first inning and a pair of runs in the second frame, before Castleberry knotted the score with a two-out, three-run blast beyond the fence in left-center in the bottom of the third.

Lincoln Memorial countered with two more runs in the fourth inning and pushed out to a 6-3 advantage with another run in the top of the ninth, while back-to-back, two-out doubles by Adams and Jackson Strange in the bottom of the ninth trimmed the Railsplitter's lead to just two.

Carpenter followed by ripping a shot deep to center field, but LMU right-fielder Tanner Head, who had entered the game for defensive purposes, ran the ball down and made a diving catch on the warning track for a potential game-saving catch and end the game.

Game 2
Lincoln Memorial scored a pair of runs in the second inning, one in the third frame and two more in the fourth inning to grab a 5-0 lead, while Berry was one of two Trojans to reach scoring position – in the second and the fifth innings.

The Railsplitters tacked on three more runs in the top of the ninth to set the final score.
