ROCK HILL, S.C. – On the heels of the regular season, Anderson University juniors William Thomas and Tyler Miller have earned All-South Atlantic Conference honors, as announced by the conference office, Wednesday afternoon.

Thomas, a native of Irmo, S.C. captured Second-Team accolades after leading the team and ranking eighth in the league with a .375 batting average, while starting all 48 games in center field for the Trojans. While hitting in the top-third of the order, Thomas led the squad by driving in 30 runs and recording six multiple-RBI games. He ranked second in the SAC with 75 hits, while posting 24 multi-hit games, including seven contests with three hits and a pair of five-hit performances.

He notched a seven-game hitting streak, a five-game stretch, three four-game streaks and a season-high eight-game hitting streak in March, while reaching base safely in 13 of the final 14 games to close out the season. Defensively, Thomas posted 107 putouts and committed just one error in center field for a .991 fielding percentage. He was sixth in the league with 14 stolen bases and was thrown out just once.

Miller was named Honorable Mention All-SAC after starting all 48 games and ranking second on the squad with a .326 batting average. The versatile junior started 30 contests at shortstop, 11 games at third base and patrolled the outfield in seven games. He tied for the team lead with a career-high 10 doubles, while standing third on the squad in on-base percentage (.404) and second in runs scored (33), hits (63) and walks (18).

Miller recorded 19 multi-hit games, including five contests with three hits, while ending the season on a 16-game hitting streak. He also posted an 11-game hitting streak in March and reached base safely during a 17-game stretch to close out the season.
