May Earns All-Conference Honors

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson sophomore Blake May has been recognized as a second-team all-conference performer as announced by the Conference Carolinas office late Thursday. The sophomore third baseman led the team and ranked 17th in the conference with his stellar .384 batting average, while starting all 49 regular-season games for the Trojans during the regular season. The 6-foot Largo, Fla., also led AU and ranked eighth in the league in total hits (71) and posted a .437 on-base percentage, tops on the team. May ranked second on the team and 24th in the league in slugging percentage (.530), runs scored (31), RBI (37), doubles (14) and total bases (98). He closed the regular season with a five-game hitting streak after notching a 13-game streak midway through the 2010 campaign. All Conference Teams
