TROJANS NOTCH ANOTHER V. NORTH GREENVILLE

ANDERSON, SC--The Anderson University baseball team seems to have found balance and rhythm of late as the Trojans put on another offensive show to go along with strong pitching Thursday at Anderson Memorial Stadium, taking it to the North Greenville University Crusaders 5-1. Trent Still had another feast on the opponents' pitching, as he went 4-4 and came around to score 4 runs. Derek Hipp earned himself a non-tradional homerun, as he dug around the bases, scoring two with an inside the park shot. North Greenville falls to 4-21 on the season. The Trojans improve to 16-9, and in grabbing their third straight victory, AU heads into a conference bout against the Barton Bulldogs with a little momentum. A weekend series originally set for Saturday and Sunday will likely be delayed due to the deluge heading to the Southeast. If that is the case, coach Joe Miller and his Trojan team will head to Wilson on Saturday, for a Sunday/Monday tilt instead. AU looks to improve on their 5-4 Conference Carolinas record and continue to stake a claim on a regular season title and a College World Series Berth.
