Pacers Stop Anderson's Winning Streak

AIKEN, S.C. -- USC Aiken designated hitter Chris Sheehan drove in six runs to fuel a 10-run seventh inning and lead the Pacers to a 20-7 victory over Anderson University Tuesday night. USC Aiken, 24-9 overall, led 7-6 through six and a half innings. But the roof caved in on Anderson in the bottom of the seventh. Sheehan had a two-run double and a two-out grand slam during the inning for the Pacers. The Pacers, who were swept at home last weekend by USC Upstate, had 20 hits in the game, nine for extra bases. Anderson, 18-21 overall, had its four-game winning streak snapped. The Trojans finished the game with 20 hits. Jessie Whiteside led Anderson with three hits, including two doubles, and two RBI.
